I ordered the board book. It is strongly constructed and a one year old will not destroy it. The prayers are wonderful and you can read and pray them with your little one. It would be formative to pray them often together. They are short and the illustrations are quite effective. As your child or grandchild learns to read, they will be able to pray them on their own. The prayers are sound but not controversial. It will be a great resource for helping your little one begin their faith journey.

I bought this because it was on the Charlotte Mason living books reading list I found, it was also on Reading Rainbow’s recommendations for preschoolers, and we are Christians. But I found the content a little wishy washy. I do appreciate the final pages when it gets more heart felt and compassionate. The language is also too advanced to hold a small child’s interest but is otherwise pretty to read for an adult.

This is such a keepsake. What a wonderful author for creating such a simple, basic, and traditional work! Everyone must own this. I have four little boys and even though this book is spoken from a little girls' mouth it is precious. Great book for any gender and any age! I am an avid children's book reader, so please, believe me!

Read this book countless times to our kids when they were little. My husband mentioned that he
wished he knew where it is.....so I bought him another one. Reminds me of Matthew 18:3: "Truly I
tell you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

I have been looking for ways to answer my 7-year-old granddaughter's recent questions about God and prayer. Since she is 600 miles away from me it is difficult to have a satisfying conversation by phone. This book is the perfect one for me to send to her as it is about a child who is praying and what she says. It is a great example for her to follow and hopefully will become a discussion starter for us. I highly recommend this book. I wish there were more like it!

Great before bedtime prayer book. Gave to my daughter for baptism gift. I paid around $5 ... beautiful illustrations and good quality board book.
