Because the baby-sitting club Dawn had joined when she was in California had been on TV out there. Kristy exhaled with exasperation. The point is for listeners to hear about effective baby-sitting techniques, but in story form. That makes it more interesting

Because the baby-sitting club Dawn had joined when she was in California had been on TV out there. Each day she seemed to have a new idea. Thursday she proposed a regular feature called "Thomas's Sitting Tips. Friday it was the "Krusher Scouting Report. That makes it more interesting. And the tape is so we can listen to ourselves and fine-tune the acting.

Guess how baby-sitting helped me. I heard about this group of girls who were starting something called the Babysitters Club. Things aren't the same without the Baby-sitters Club, even though I consider myself the New York branch of the BSC. They wanted to run a business sitting for families in the neighborhood - and they were looking for another member! So I joined. I'm still really close to most of the girls in the club, especially Claudia Kishi. She's my Connecticut best friend. But I wouldn't trade big-city life for anything. I wouldn't trade sitting for the Walkers, either.

I loved this book because a new character was introduced, who is Abby Steveston. I liked that she was sporty. This book was great. A must read!!

i remember when they had the big name contest in the 90s for abbys and her sisters characters. i think she adds a different angle and new personality to the club... and she reminds me a lot of me. not to mention she is also jewish, which adds yet another angle to the books and her character. her bad jokes are a riot and she has an identical twin sister as well. good book, good introduction. :p

Abby seems like a really interesting person, and so does her twin sister Anna, but this book focuses more on the music and art fair to support the programs at school, and Abby's home life more than Abby's adjustment to being in the club. I don't blame Kristy for being concerned with Abby because she had an asthma attack. Granted, it wasn't her fault but not exactly safe either if you're responsible for young kids. She seemed like a good sitter aside from that though, but mostly I enjoyed reading about the activities the baby sitters and the kids planned for the music and art booths at the fair and the prizes they made too. Anna seems really interesting too, really into music, I think she would have been a more interesting club member than Abby in fact.

This is an ok book. It welcomes Abby into the club. The author knew that by taking Dawn out she would have to add a new charecter. I liked reading this book because it was a new story with new charecters to read about. By the time I got to book #90 I was ready to learn about someone new.

I am a big Dawn fan, so I miss Dawn. They could've replaced Dawn with someone better than Abby. Abby is an obnoxious eigth grader who thinks she is so funny. Abby shows of that she is so cool. In the book she tries to help her mom and sister ajust to Stoneybrook. Abby should have never joined the club. Kristy is right when she says that Abby is a bad baby-sitter. Abby should have never joined the club!

the cover is nice, and I love it best when they are planning the art and music fair and making all the crafts for the event. I think Abby's twin sister Anna is more interesting though. She's into music just like me. Each BSC has seperate leisure hobbies except a music one. Well we have jessi who's into ballet, but anna being into playing instruments would have made a fine addition to the club.
