Story about a tomato who must find his way to the organic produce stand. He has an grand adventure and meets many strange things along the way.
Pictures were OK and story was so -so... not sure I get why a totato would be in an all fire hurry to be eaten... but maybe I am reading too much into the story. LOL
My kids like it alot, so that is why it gets 4 stars.

I felt like this story went on and on without much originality. I was dissapointed by the representation of the nonorganic produce as ugly and unattractive because I have found the opposite to be true. I do buy organic produce but I find the "conventional" produce to usually appear healthier, bigger, and brighter. It would have been nice to see the deception involved in producing food to be explored better.

This brightly illustrated children's book does a great job of teaching kids about organic produce. Tucker the tomato is a red, plump, little guy who falls off the truck. Our children, ages two and six love this book, and I appreciate the message they learn about the benefits of avoiding pesticides. Buying organic makes a real difference, and that message comes through loud and clear in this book!--Melanie Wilson

This is my Godsons favorite book!
He especially likes the "scary"part when the
pesticide tomatoes are being bullies!
And loves that it all ends well when the Organic
Tomato finds his way back home!
