Terrific book about all kinds of bugs. Beautiful illustrations and charming rhyming text give detailed information in such a fun way. Children love the bright colors and the words that rhyme. We found the book fun to read and very educational, too.

The text of this book is accessible, smooth and rhythmic. The illustrations though are astounding! My three and half year old does get a bit bored with it but she is out of the target age range.

Each page is fun to look at, fun to read and there is even a challenging "bug search" challenge in the back to encourage you to comb through the pictures more carefully. I'll be looking for more books with Ron Broda's illustrations/sculptures.
